What is Q-MISS?
Q-MISS is the Quantified Motorway Information Supply System - a system which demonstrates and proves the concepts of the Travel Information Highway (TIH). The QMISS Database stores Dynamic and Static Traffic Data.
The Dynamic Traffic Data consists of real time data from MDIS Traffic Events, Matrix Signals, Variable Message Signs, Controlled Motorway Signs and Emergency Telephone status from around the motorway network.
